Consistency

Perfection of cut on every single facet of every single diamond, every single time. It takes about ten years to become a Master Diamond Cutter - about the same time as a fine surgeon takes to complete college, medical school and residency.

The finest diamonds come from the most caring hands and can take up to four months to complete. The more skilled the cutter, the more the diamond PERFORMS, the more rare and valuable the diamond and the MORE BEAUTIFUL THE DIAMOND!


Cost

The prices can vary as much as 50%! The best value = the best price for the highest diamond performance (not the lowest price or biggest discount).

Confidence

Trust who you deal with. Lab certificates do not guarantee anything. Though many appear to use the same scale, they do not necessarily use the same standards for evaluation. An experienced expert should be able to accurately demonstrate each of these elements for you. Misevaluation can result in a disappointing purchase, but proper evaluation produces a smile long after the money you spent is forgotten.

Common Sense

That one is easy enough.  If it is to good to be true then it is.  Do your homework first.  There are many websites out there that can help you through the process and make your first diamond experience a great one.
